There are four ways of look at this:

  1. Linking the project to the module academic requirements
  2. Identify how your project will advance research and understanding within the field
  3. Identify what personal challenges you will face (knowledge, skills, sample gathering etc…)
  4. All of the above

Academic Requirements

  • List all learning objectives\ outcomes and under each one list how your project will achieve the outcome
  • Make reference to previous learning opportunities\ modules to show that you are drawing against and using previous knowledge

Advance Research and Understanding

  • Making reference to other peoples research:
    • Indicate how your findings will support current thinking and processes within the field
    • Indicate how your findings will challenge current thinking and processes within the field
    • Indicate how your findings will open new avenues of research within the field

Personal Challenge
